Joe Bonson & Coffee Run

Joe Bonson 2017 Color

7:00 and 9:00 PM

One of Central Pennsylvania’s rising country stars, Nashville Recording Artist, Joe Bonson, treats your ears to a taste of “Country” the way we all love to hear it; traditional country music to the tune of a seven piece band. The band consists of drums, bass, acoustic, lead, steel and fiddle, two support vocals and lead vocal.

Don Chance of “Country Music Writer” reviewed Joe Bonson and Coffee Run’s “Love Train” album with comments such as: “The most immediately recognizable aspect of Coffee Run’s musical style is undoubtedly Joe Bonson’s voice. Not only his timbre, but also his phrasing distills the essence of that country Honky Tonk style pioneered by Lefty Frizell and Merle Haggard”. and “…how do I describe the earthy country soul in Bonson’s absolutely perfect smoke-tinged vocals, or the achingly evocative dirt-road harmonies from his wife and friend? I can’t. Words escape me here….get this one if genuine country music matters to you.” ~ “Industry Insight”

Joe Bonson and Coffee Run received national airplay with their recording of “Jesus and Bartenders”.

The band has opened up for acts such as: Tracey Byrd, Confederate Railroad, Steve Holy and others. Their show consists of original material as well as variety of country standards.
