The McClure Sesquicentennial Celebration Committee would like to extend an invitation to join the committee and volunteer to help make the celebration a huge success. The celebration will be held during the McClure Pot Pie Festival from July 20 to July 23, 2017 at Cold Springs Grove (Bean Soup Grounds). The town of McClure was founded in 1867 and the borough of McClure was established in1967. It is great that as a town we get to have two celebrations at once. The committee was formed in August of 2011. Currently the committee is working on a history book about McClure Borough and West Beaver Township. The history book is near completion (in the editing stage) and the committee is taking pre-orders of $45 for the history book dedicated to McClure and West Beaver Township.
